According to the British "Daily Mail" report on February 13, an 18-year-old woman in North Dakota, USA, developed a strange disease five months into her pregnancy and had to bray like a donkey more than 30 times a day. The woman’s name is Cody Hagel. She has been suffering from a strange disease called Tourette’s syndrome since she was 14 years old. Over the past 4 years, her legs, feet or head have twitched 10 to 20 times, but she has never made any strange noises. But after she became pregnant five months ago, her family was surprised to find that she began to bray like a donkey, more than 30 times a day. Hagel lives with his parents on a farm in North Dakota, where they have two donkeys named Oliver and Rachel. They may be the cause of Hagel's distress. Hagel was a first-time mother and worried about passing the disease on to her children. She said: "I was told that if one parent suffers from this tic, there is a 50% chance that the child will also develop it." She also hopes to use her experience to help others.
