used a smartphone to save her mother (Alberta Times) Residents living in San Tan Valley were hotly discussing the story of a three-year-old girl who used a mobile phone to save her mother. Rebecca, who lives in San Tan Valley, fell into a coma last Thursday morning after returning home from surgery with only her three-year-old daughter, Madison Baker, at home. When little Madison saw that her mother was unresponsive, she actually used her smartphone to call her grandmother in Texas and called 911 through her grandmother, saving her mother's life. Afterwards, everyone was surprised by Maddison's behavior. Logically speaking, she should not be able to make phone calls. Maybe she picked up her mobile phone to play with it and happened to press her grandmother's phone number... The important thing is that she called her grandmother at that moment and saved her mother. Fire department paramedics said her mother's condition would have been dire if little Madison had not called for help.
