Friends who like outdoor activities went hiking together for a long weekend (February 19). On February 19, 2012, the Science and Technology College organized friends who like outdoor activities to enjoy the comfortable climate and outdoor scenery and go hiking in Nanshan Park. The event route and arrangements are as follows. Take I-10 at Center Road and walk south until you reach the main intersection. We will meet at Park Headquarters at 10 a.m. on February 19th (about half a mile southwest of the main intersection). Please be on time. 10:00am Drive to the climbing site. At the climbing site, there will be two routes. One is the "loose scenic tour route" of 3-5 miles. (1) easy-moderate trails (3-5 miles, lead by Shija Na): range – bajada – kiwanislos – lomitas AND back to parking lot / picnic area The second set is the “Effortless Bosozoku” 10 miles. (2) very difficult trails (10 miles, lead by Qian Xu): alta – bajada – max delta AND back to parking lot / picnic area. Non-members of the Science and Technology College pay an activity fee of two yuan per person, and members are free. (Membership fee is US$20/year for individuals and US$35/year for families). Science and Technology provides plates, forks, fruits and drinks for meals. The meal format is PICNIC, and everyone can bring their own home-cooked food to share. Direction: Exit I-10 at central ave and head to the end to main entrance. 2. Meet at Park Headquarters (approx 1/2 mile southwest from entrance. go through without left turn at right side) at 10:00 AM on 2/19 (Sunday) – no waiting, 3. At 10:00 AM, we will drive to where we start our HIKING. 4. Based on interests and physical condition, we will be divided into two groups: (1) easy-moderate trails (3-5 miles, lead by Shija Na): range – bajada – kiwanislos – lomitas AND back to parking lot / picnic area (2) very difficult trails (10 miles, lead by Qian Xu): alta – bajada – max delta AND back to parking lot / picnic area 5. PICNIC – bring your favorite food/dish to share. 6.
