The 20th General Assembly of the American Longgang General Office of Friendship and Friendship was held in Houston

(Contributed by Zhang Zhaohong) The 65th Anniversary Celebration of the Founding of the American Longgang Friendship Association and the 20th Annual General Assembly were held for the first time in South Houston, the United States, for four days from October 31st to November 3rd.

The first preparatory conference of Longgang America was held in Luo Province in 1928. In 1948, it was officially named the "American Ryoka Chi-yi General Office" in New York. At each subsequent visit, representatives from various offices, friends, and family members will gather together to build friendship and discuss business development. The Longgang Group has carried forward the spirit of loyalty, righteousness, benevolence and courage and has been recognized by the world. The Longgang Group has outstanding achievements and has been passed down from generation to generation for 65 years. It is influential in traditional overseas Chinese communities in Chinatown across America.

The organizer of this year's event, the Houston Longgang Qinyi Office, warmly welcomes distinguished guests from Longgang offices in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru, and Taiwan, and provides a satisfactory platform for networking and interaction.

Chairman Guan Jianzhong of the American Longgang Friendship Association reported on the progress of the conference in the past three years. Zhang Jinhui, chairman of the World Longgang Friendship Association, reported to everyone the important activities of the World Association. Branch offices in various places discussed and proposed proposals at the meeting, and finally elected a new leadership team with Zhang Guoqin as the next chairman. Chen Shikui, Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission, came to Houston to communicate with various offices despite his busy schedule. His spirit of service and service moved everyone, and he was widely praised by overseas Chinese. The four surnames from all over the world communicated with each other in the intimate gathering, and the event was warm and cordial. Under the leadership of Zhang Huafang, the current chairman of Longgang Qinyi Office in Phoenix City, twelve representatives and their families attended the 20th Qinqin Representative Conference. Zhang Huafang made a conference report to the conference, and with the unanimous decision of all delegates, they all came to the stage to accept the authorization ceremony for holding the next Qinqin Conference. The 21st Longgang Qinqin Congress of the Americas will be held in Phoenix, USA in 2016.

Houston Longgang Qinyi Office provided cordial service to the delegates from beginning to end and was well received. Representatives and their families visited the city of Houston and the United States Space Agency. Most of them also took a cruise after the conference and went to the world-famous Mayan temple, Chichén Itzá in Mexico, in search of the oldest civilization in mankind.
