(Contributed by the Overseas Chinese Federation) The 2016 Miss Chinese Phoenix Pageant, organized by the Greater Phoenix Area Overseas Chinese Federation, will be held on January 24, 2016. The registration process has now begun, and qualified young Chinese women are welcome to sign up. The Miss Chinese Competition is a traditional event organized by the Overseas Chinese Federation of Phoenix City since 1968 to promote Chinese culture and for outstanding young people.

The Chinese ladies participating in the selection must be between 17 and 24 years old. Each Chinese Miss approved to participate in the selection can receive a scholarship of 500 yuan from the Overseas Chinese Federation. The elected queen, first princess and second princess can receive scholarships of 1,500 yuan, 1,000 yuan and 800 yuan respectively. Application deadline: October 25, 2015.
