On November 22, Phoenix Longgang Office held an annual meeting to elect a new leadership team. Zhang Zhaohong was elected as the 2016 Chairman. The meeting summarized the work in 2015. Everyone mentioned in their speeches that Guan Zong had spared no effort in the affairs of the Longgang clan for decades as chairman, and took the lead in investing US$10,000 to actively support Phoenix City in hosting the next American Longgang Marriage Conference. He was elected as the honorary chairman of the Marriage Preparatory Committee. Chairman Guan made great contributions during his tenure and was nominated by the American Longgang General Office. The World General Assembly approved and he was honored as the President of the World Longgang General Assembly. This is the first time our firm has received the highest honor in more than 40 years, and it is also an honor for the overseas Chinese community in Phoenix. The meeting nominated and approved Mr. Zhang Zhaohong as the 2016 chairman. Zhang Zhaohong joined the Phoenix Longgang Office in the early 1990s and has served Longgang for more than 20 years. He has served as the chairman of the office three times, and has served as the regional executive committee member, supervisory committee member, and business specialist of the Longgang Quarterly of the American Longgang Office. Recently, he was nominated by the American Longgang Office and approved by the World General Assembly as the new vice president of the World Longgang Association. After the election, he said that the current leadership team has great responsibilities, and the central task is to unite and work hard to prepare for the 21st American Dragon Boat Festival held in Phoenix in 2016.
