Phoenix City, Minming On May 3, 2015, at 1:30pm in the church lobby, teachers, students and parents of the Chinese school gathered together to celebrate the fruitful results of the students’ hard work for a year and held a solemn and joyful graduation and closing ceremony. While preparing for the final exam, the students also carefully prepared exciting programs under the leadership of their homeroom teachers. Before the ceremony began, worship was led by the church's youth worship team. They are all high school graduates this year. Before entering the university, they would like to do their best for their fellow students and encourage them to continue working hard and strive for excellent results. Next, Pastor Liu Shuhua gave a pre-meeting prayer, wishing the ceremony a success in God’s grace! The host of the ceremony was taken turns by the students from the Ap class. The ceremony kicked off with the singing of the children from the swimming class/preschool class, singing "Goose" and "Looking for Friends". Listening to the immature children's voices and irregular dance movements, it was very pleasing to the eye and cute. Next, Pastor Liu Shuhua presented the Outstanding Achievement Award. A total of 32 students won this award. Watching the award-winning students lively and cheerfully taking the trophies from Pastor Liu Shuhua one by one, standing on the stage with bright smiles, parents rushed to the stage to videotape and take photos of the award-winning students, leaving this beautiful and glorious moment for the students. Time stopped suddenly, and the beautiful picture became a happy memory for each winner.

The awards came to an end, and the cheerful song sounded, "Teacher bless you, the sky is colorful and ten flowers", which is a song dedicated to the teacher by the Simplified Chinese kindergarten class; the reading performance of Simplified Chinese Class 4 - Sima Guang; the dance of the children's dance class - Flower Fairy; the children's song "Happy Face, Little World" by the Simplified Chinese Class 2; the children's song "Twelve Zodiac Songs" by the Simplified Chinese Class 3, Simplified Chinese Class 1 recited as many as 6 poems. For these children born in the United States, it was not easy to perform these poems and children's songs. They not only performed poems and children's songs, but the dance performances of the youth dance class: "Mountain Girl" and "Jasmine" were also stylish. Accompanied by beautiful and sweet music, they danced gracefully, like flowers, and were graceful, like beautiful angels coming to the world. We viewers were also mesmerized, as if we were in a dream. Warm applause kept ringing out in the venue, blessing the students for their performances!

In the third stage, Director Li Hongzhi presented the literacy/reciting competition awards. Another group of award-winning students happily received the trophies and stood neatly on the stage. It was another time for video and photo taking. This is the result of the students' hard work for a year. They are smiling on their faces, beautiful in their hearts, and like flowers blooming in the hearts of teachers and parents. The last program was a poem recitation with music by Simplified Chinese Class 6: "Spring River with Flowers and Moonlight Night". A group of boys and girls recited Zhang Ruoxu's poem "Spring River with Flowers and Moonlight Night" to the music of pipa. , the crisp and melodious sound of pipa flowed from the fingertips of the female classmates, accompanied by the touching verses of yin and yang, it was a feast for the eyes and ears, which purified people's body, mind and soul. Their perfect performance won warm applause from everyone. This applause contained praise, encouragement and even love!

Finally, Principal Shen Meijing awarded graduation certificates to five graduates of this year. After several years of hard study, these five students finally ushered in the sacred moment of graduation. I sincerely wish them all the best! The graduation and graduation ceremony ended with laughter from the audience! The students happily rushed to the prize room in small groups to receive their awards, which was a wonderful reward for their hard work for a year. Phoenix Chinese Christian Church Chinese School was established in 1983 and has a history of 32 years. It is a non-profit organization school. Currently, the school has singing classes, Chinese preschool, simplified Chinese kindergarten class, phonetic class, 4 traditional Chinese classes, 8 simplified Chinese classes, 4 bilingual classes, 1 conversation class, 1 Chinese AP class, after-school activity classes including 2 dance classes, 2 painting classes, 3 math classes and 1 martial arts class, with a total of 30 classes with more than 250 students. The purpose of the school is to teach students to learn Chinese and traditional Chinese culture, and to integrate the truth of Christian love to cultivate students' sound character. The teachers and co-workers of the school all have the ambition to glorify God, benefit people, and spread Chinese culture. The teachers and teaching assistants hired are all like-minded partners with love, enthusiasm for service, willingness to sacrifice and dedication. The goals of running the school are: professionalization of the teacher team, systematic teaching, community-based environment, interesting teaching materials, and parent participation. This year's principal, Principal Shen Meijing, has taught in Chinese schools for 14 years and served as principal of Chinese schools for three years. This year, under the leadership of Principal Shen Meijing, we vigorously carried out various tasks and achieved unusual results. I hope that Phoenix Christian Church Chinese School will get better and better.
