Congratulations to Anna Han for winning the 2014 U.S. Presidential Award for Young Arts! She will go to the White House to receive the award and perform at the Kennedy Center in mid-June. A total of 20 young artists in the United States have received the Presidential Award, and only three musicians are among them. When Anna learned the good news on May 5, she immediately called his piano teacher Xu Fei to tell him. She started learning piano from Teacher Xu Fei at the age of five. Under Teacher Xu’s 13 years of hard training, her pursuit of music has become more and more mature and persistent. Her continuous efforts have enabled her to win many international competition awards. In recent years, she has given several solo concerts in New York and Washington, D.C., and received favorable reviews from newspapers including the Washington Post. This year Anna was admitted to the Juilliard School of Music with excellent results. Enrollment will begin in the fall. She thanked her parents for their energy and support in her studies over the years. Her father Han Wenhai is a computer engineer and her mother Wan Hong is a nurse. At this time, Han Anna specially thanked her piano teacher Xu Fei and congratulated him on winning the 2014 American Outstanding Teacher Award! When asked what Teacher Xu thought of Han Anna and his outstanding achievements, he modestly said: We have grown together in teaching, and I am grateful for everything!
