Every year on the Fourth of July, the most popular event in Phoenix is the beauty pageant. After fierce competition, the annual Miss Chinese Phoenix was selected. This year is certainly no exception. Since this year's Miss Chinese North America finals were arranged in Phoenix and co-organized by the Federation of Overseas Chinese, the selection event for this year's Miss Chinese Phoenix was simplified. Li Lejun, the runner-up in 2013, was promoted to Miss Chinese Phoenix 2014. Ye Anping was the eldest princess and was crowned during the event.
