At 1:00 pm on October 5, the preliminary round of the 2013 Arizona State University Karaoke Competition hosted by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association of Arizona State University was held at August Love Song KTV. Student Union Chairman Liu Weizhe told reporters that the preliminary competition lasted for two days and ended on the afternoon of the 6th. Nearly 60 students have signed up to participate. The atmosphere at the competition was quite lively. In addition to the contestants, nearly a hundred students came to the scene to cheer for the competition. On-site registration is still continuing. Students who are interested in participating, please hurry up and sign up on site.
Around 2:30 in the afternoon, several high-level contestants set off a small climax for the preliminaries. Yang Chengyu sang "Tears" by Jacky Cheung.

Yang Chengyu was very involved in singing. The audience and judges were mesmerized. When the song ended, there was thunderous applause, which was quite touching. Another contestant, Ling Zhi, sang "Blank Space". As soon as his voice came out, the scene fell into silence, and all the listeners were immersed in the clear and soothing music. After listening to the performances of several singers, the level of this competition is evident.

Audience
The three judges Gao Weijia, Huang Chenxue and Ah Dai were also very busy. It was also a big test to select less than 10 people from so many outstanding contestants to enter the finals.
What is even more attractive to the audience is that the 2013 Arizona State University Chinese Student Karaoke Competition is called the All-Star Game, which means that contestants who have achieved good results in the ASU Karaoke Competition in recent years may meet the audience again in this competition.
Who will be the final winner? What kind of music feast will the contestants bring to everyone? "Sunbird" Arizona Chinese Network will continue to bring you reports.
