2013 Cultural Visiting Group of Outstanding Chinese College Students Notice 1. Purpose of the Activity To further enhance cultural exchanges and emotional communication between outstanding Chinese college students at home and abroad, jointly explore the cultural roots, national soul, and the rich connotation of the Chinese Dream, and jointly create a better future for national revitalization. 2. Event time July 10 Shanghai arrival (9:00-17:00) July 10-July 19 Shanghai event July 19 Shanghai to Taipei (MU5007 12:30-14:00) July 19-July 29 Taiwan event July 29 Taipei to Shanghai (MU5008 15:00-16:40), group disbanded 4. Participants: 70 outstanding Chinese college students aged 18 to 25 years old studying in famous universities (including students from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and famous local universities in Shanghai). 5. Schedule (may be slightly adjusted) 1. Theme forums, opening (closing) ceremonies, youth roundtables, etc. 2. Lectures by famous experts 3. Corporate visits 4. Community inspections 5. Public welfare activities 6. Exchange discussions 7. Cultural experience 6. Description of matters 1. In order to facilitate management and ensure safety, the food and accommodation, transportation, visits, sightseeing and other activities of all campers during the event will be arranged by the organizer. The organizer will provide uniformly produced event clothing and IDs for free. During the event, all members are required to dress and wear IDs as required. 2. Please handle the procedures for traveling to Taiwan by yourself. 3. Please send the event registration form (attached, please do not modify the form format!) to the organizer’s email address: wxc@overseas.sh.cn before May 10, 2013. 4. All campers are required to report to their accommodation on July 10 (the address will be notified separately) and leave the camp on their own after the activity ends on July 29. 5. During the activity, all campers are asked to bring their student ID cards. 6. There will be a party and talent show during the event. Please bring your own musical instruments and props if necessary. 7. All campers please submit the personally signed "Instructions for Campers" (attached) to the organizer's staff on the day of registration. 8. Regarding expenses (1) All campers are responsible for their own air tickets to and from Shanghai and related taxes, round-trip air tickets from Shanghai to Taipei and related taxes, early arrival or delayed departure, and other personal expenses. (2) All accommodation, meals, transportation, visits, travel accident insurance and other expenses during the event will be borne by the organizer. (3) If you need to purchase a round-trip air ticket from Shanghai to Taipei on July 19 and July 29, each camper needs to pay 7,151 yuan; if you need to purchase a one-way air ticket from Shanghai to Taipei on July 19, each camper needs to pay 4,234 yuan (if there is a ticket discount, the excess amount will be refunded). (4) After arriving in Shanghai on July 29, if you need to stay one night before leaving Shanghai, please inform us in advance so that accommodation can be arranged.
