Introduction to the Entrepreneurship Competition: The North American High-Level Talent Entrepreneurship Competition is the highest-level entrepreneurial competition for overseas Chinese and a summit for the docking of technology, talent, market, and capital. Hosted by the U.S. federally registered non-profit organization, the U.S.-China High-Level Talent Exchange Association (www.ucahp.org, UCAHP), and the Tsinghua Entrepreneurs Association Angel Fund (TEEC Angel Fund, www.teec-angel.com), it is the first overseas Chinese series entrepreneurship competition and the first venture capital and park docking forum targeting Chinese opportunities and expanding the Chinese market. The purpose of the competition is to establish a platform to help North American entrepreneurial teams connect with domestic investment and entrepreneurial parks in various places, obtain support from the parks, obtain venture capital, and explore the Chinese market. Based on the principles of fairness and confidentiality, all projects are accepted, saved and reviewed by specialized teams in each field. The review principle is entirely based on business principles, measuring and evaluating the project itself from various aspects such as team, market, feasibility, scalability, productization and exit mechanism. 60 outstanding teams are given priority to have one-on-one docking with the heads of Chinese parks in the United States. The winning project in the finals will have the opportunity to receive a total investment of more than US$1 million from investors. The 10 winning teams in the semi-finals will have the opportunity to have face-to-face communication with successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, and VC partners. The first North American Entrepreneurship Competition has already seen 40 projects settle in Suzhou, Zhangjiang, Yixing, Hangzhou, Nanjing and other places and have found investment.
