Orange County Overseas Chinese Cultural and Educational Service Center

> In order to assist overseas Chinese in studying Chinese cuisine and cooking technology courses suitable for overseas entrepreneurship, so as to cultivate the entrepreneurial strength of overseas Chinese and improve their business management capabilities, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission specially launched the "2012 Chinese Food Cooking Class" from May 28 to June 8, 2012. This workshop was hosted by "Jianxi University" and hired professional chefs and chefs from the school. Domestic well-known chefs serve as teachers. This training course includes learning various basic cooking techniques of Chinese cuisine such as frying, steaming, stir-frying, boiling, stewing, mixing, stewing, smoking, roasting, and quick-frying, as well as analyzing market trends and business strategies, basic entrepreneurial courses such as how to open Chinese restaurants overseas, and visiting Dianshuilou, Taikelan, Yingge Ceramic Tableware, Dihua Street North and South Grocery Business Districts, etc., and arranging business experience sharing and exchanges with relevant well-known industry players. The Overseas Chinese Affairs Council will bear the tuition and fees for the study courses, such as teaching materials, teachers, venues, and materials. Students will have to pay for their own transportation costs to and from their place of residence, as well as board and lodging expenses during the study period.
