The party was hosted by the New Oriental Art School and co-organized by the ASU Confucius Institute, the Tucson Chinese Voice Chorus, the Alberta Times, the Sunbird Arizona Chinese Network and many other Chinese media and Chinese associations. There were more than 130 actors participating in the evening performance, mainly primary school students from New Oriental Art School and some senior artists active in various literary and art groups in Alberta.
