Liang Jia'en Liang Jiaen performed live

Local Chinese primary school student Liang Jiaen is 11 years old and studying in the sixth grade of Gilbert City Elementary School. Two musical works he composed by himself won the third place in the youth category of the 2012 Golden Keyboard Music Festival International Piano Composition Competition​.

The Golden Keyboard Music Festival International Piano Composition Competition is a very famous international piano composition competition with contestants from all over the world. The contestants include students from conservatories from many countries, including Russia, China, the United States and EU countries, and the competition is very fierce. The Golden Keyboard Music Festival International Piano Composition Competition aims to encourage the creativity and self-expression of student composers. The winners are invited to Vienna, Austria, to participate in the World Young Composers Award Ceremony, and perform the winning compositions live at the award ceremony. In addition, they will also participate in the week-long Golden Keyboard Music Festival, enjoy additional performance opportunities, and be arranged to listen to lessons from master music professors.

Liang Jiaen has shown extraordinary musical talent since she was a child. She started taking music lessons at the age of three and piano lessons at the age of five, and composed her first original song. Since then, she has participated in the Yamaha Music School Youth Original Song Composition Competition every year, and won the West Region Championship in the Junior Category for two consecutive years in 2010 and 2011.

In addition to the piano, Liang Jiaen also participated in the school orchestra, playing the double bass. In addition, Liang Jiaen also serves as a piano accompanist for the children's choir in her church. This is her second year serving at the church. She also played the piano many times in church services to serve God with music.

Liang Jiaen’s interests outside of music include painting, handicrafts, reading, computer games, karate and origami. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she said she wanted to be a computer game artist so she could create and play games at work.

>Liang Jiaen is also a student in the Chinese Language and Physical Education class of Fengcheng Chinese Christian Church. He has excellent academic performance in school and has participated in various school competitions with outstanding performance.
