Los Angeles is the city with the largest number of Chinese people in the western United States. It has now developed into an important area for economic and cultural exchanges between China and the United States. This year's "Los Angeles Chinese Photography Festival" is in its second edition. This year's theme is "The Color of the Dragon." It aims to promote professional exchanges and cooperation between photographers and photography enthusiasts in China and the United States, jointly promote the development and progress of photography, use photography as a bridge to promote cultural exchanges between the people of China and the United States, and deepen the American people's understanding of the development of China today. In recent years, with the deepening of economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries, the "Los Angeles China Photography Festival" has attracted more and more mainstream attention in the United States, and has increasingly become another good platform for cultural exchanges between China and the United States. The organizing committee of this photography festival is composed of the Chinese Cultural Development Center of the American Overseas Chinese Newspaper, the US-China Photographers Association, the Los Angeles Photographic Society of the United States, and the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Photography Association. Co-participators include the Shanghai International "Lang Jingshan Photography Art Award" Organizing Committee, Lishui Photographers Association, Hong Kong "China Tourism" Publishing House, TCPA Photography School of the United States, Asia Pacific Museum, etc. Photography Festival Opening Ceremony Venue This photography festival invites many outstanding works from photography groups and photographers from China and the United States to participate in the exhibition, including many internationally renowned photographers and famous award-winning works from international photography competitions. Participating in the exhibition are the "Joint Exhibition of Chinese and American Photographers" with more than 100 photographic works by 65 photographers, the "Hometown of Photography in China Water Photographers Exhibition" with 84 photographic works by the famous photographer Wu Pinhe and 30 other photographers, and the "Shanghai International Lang Jingshan Photography Art Award Exhibition" with 100 works by Academy Award winners, reflecting the development of Chinese photography art from different levels and angles. The photography festival will run from the opening exhibition on March 3 to March 14. During this period, photographers from the two countries also held seminars and symposiums and other activities. The opening ceremony was attended by Sun Weide, Deputy Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, Cultural Counselor Che Zhao, heads of the organizing committee and exhibitors, photography artists from China and the United States, and more than 200 Chinese elected officials in California.
