A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon (News from this website) A 17-year-old boy was accidentally shot and killed by his friend this afternoon (March 19). According to Phoenix police reports, the incident occurred at the intersection of 89 Avenue and Buckeye. When police arrived, a neighbor was performing CPR on the boy. The boy, Trent Crump, 17, and a 15-year-old girl, the 16-year-old boy, stole some weapons nearby. The 15-year-old girl was cleaning up stolen items when she picked up a gun. As she thought she had cleared the weapon, he pointed it at the 17-year-old boy's chest and pulled the trigger. Police said the 17-year-old boy died from his injuries. The 15-year-old girl was charged with shooting and theft and was detained. The 16-year-old suspect was charged with theft and detained.
