The Hong Kong Diaoyu Islands' protection ship "Qifeng No. 2" sailed 1 nautical mile away from the Diaoyu Islands at about 4:30 pm on the 15th. The Diaoyu Islands protection ship ran aground on the Diaoyu Islands and successfully grabbed the beach. Seven crew members landed on the island to declare sovereignty.

” It took more than 10 years to finally succeed!”

Seven crew members of the Diaoyu Islands protection ship fell into the water and landed on the island. They erected the national flag and sang the national anthem. They placed Chinese-made TV sets and radios to receive Chinese broadcasts. Dozens of Japanese law enforcement officers were present at the scene. Several Diaoyu Islands activists were subdued and questioned.

Some crew members said that the Japanese ships pressed hard and there were many collisions. The bow and hull of the Diaoyu boat were damaged and they had to rely on computer navigation. But all crew members are safe.

Earlier, Chen Miao-tak, chairman of the Hong Kong Diaoyu Islands Protection Action Committee, said that the number of Japanese Coast Guard ships monitoring nearby has increased to 12, and helicopters are monitoring the area. The Japanese Security Agency once used two large ships to squeeze the two sides. The closest distance between the two ships was 30 to 40 meters. Japanese personnel continued to issue warnings, claiming that they had entered "Japanese territory" and fired water cannons.

Chen Miaode said that based on past experience, Diaoyu Islands protection ships will be intercepted by Japanese ships if they enter 30 nautical miles of the Diaoyu Islands. Japan has taken action on the high seas this time, and there has been a collision between the two sides. It calls on the crew members of the Diaoyu Islands to put safety first. The captain of the Hong Kong Diaoyu Islands boat was moved to tears: "It took more than 10 years to finally succeed!"
