The magnitude of the earthquake was not high, but it was felt strongly in Putian, Quanzhou, Yongtai, Fuzhou and other places in Fujian. Many people woke up from their sleep; the earthquake was also felt in Fuzhou, Xiamen and other places.
What is quite concerning is that in August, there were multiple earthquakes in Xianyou County, Fujian Province.
