Gasoline prices in Alberta have been falling for 12 consecutive weeks (Alberta Times) Last week, a spokesperson for the AAA Arizona branch said that gasoline prices in Alberta have been falling for 12 consecutive weeks. The statewide average price for unleaded regular gasoline was $3.46 a gallon Thursday, 7 cents lower than the previous week. The national average gas price last week was $3.36 per gallon, 10 cents lower than the previous week. South Carolina has the lowest average price in the country at $2.95, while California has the highest price at $3.79 per gallon. In the state, Tucson has the lowest gas prices in the state, with an average price of $3.38 per gallon, and Flagstaff has the highest price in the state, with an average price of $3.66 per gallon. AAA says gas prices in Arizona were at their lowest in April.
