>Arizona voter registration deadline: October 9th As we turn to October, we are getting closer and closer to November Super Tuesday. The Secretary of State's Office reminds that the last date for voter registration in Arizona is October 9. We hope that all citizens of appropriate age will actively register to vote for the President of the United States, state legislators, and state/municipal bills. Preliminary elections for local public officials were held on August 28. Both parties also elected their presidential candidates, waiting for voters to vote on November 6. As long as citizens are over 18 years old, they can register as voters and choose democratic, republican or independent parties according to their own beliefs. Details are available at www.servicearizona.com. Maricopa County Elections Director Karen Osborne expects 65% of eligible voters in metro Phoenix to vote this year, mostly by mail. It seems that the post office is busy again.
