A private plane crashed on the morning of October 4, and the widow was of Chinese descent (reported by Xie Chengyan of the Alberta Times) At about 9:30 a.m. on October 4, a small private plane crashed in Tucson. An American man piloting the plane died. The remains of the victims will be sent to the Tucson Medical Examiner's Office and then to the funeral home designated by the family in the next two or three days. The victims left behind a Chinese widow and a daughter. The Chinese widow has only been in the United States for two years. The victim's daughter was traveling to Tucson from out of state. The small aircraft is a single-engine Mustang II FB designed by the pilot, has a smooth driving record, and has received government driving certification. The cause of the crash, which occurred just two miles from the departure airport, is under investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board. Currently, the "Alberta Times" and Qu Ning, vice president of the Overseas Chinese Federation, are contacting the family to help them arrange the aftermath.
